Volume II in this amazing series lists all the named wooden cars built by Pullman's Palace Car Co. as well as those cars designed by Pullman and built by other companies, all destined for Pullman operations. In addition, cars acquired by Pullman from its purchase of competitive lines (such as Woodruff and Wagner) and the takeover of railroad operated cars are also listed. All cars are presented in the order of their Pullman Plan Number with the Lots following in order by date. Within each Lot, cars are broken down by assignment and listed alphabetically. Plan numbers generally arrange the data in the order in which the cars were built. Illustrated with schematic diagrams and blueprints as well as black and white photos (for which there is an index).
